A New Alternative in Interior Design: Two High-Quality Products on One Wood-Based Chipboard

Interior design continues to be influenced by natural and organic materials. Products that are able to imitate them have also been popular. The industry has seen a rise in demand for furniture and other decorative items that can bring nature and comfort inside, especially in recent years. This is a design trend that is sure to be around for the long-term.

However, designers and architects must consider the material’s quality, resistance and maintenance requirements when choosing a material. When creating an indoor environment that is user-friendly, it is important to balance natural beauty with functionality. EGGER, a wood-based material manufacturer, has developed a new lacquer line that combines an organic look and other benefits.

This is a durable and long-lasting lacquered board version

PerfectSense Feelwood lacquered Boards are the result of combining the PerfectSense Matt and Feelwood lacquered board. The first offers a matt, durable, and easy-to maintain surface that is resistant to fingerprints. The second, however, replicates the natural characteristics of wood in both its look and texture. The new chipboard is the first to combine two high-quality, successful products. It has a matt lacquer finish with pores that are synchronized to each decor pattern. This makes it a cost-effective and realistic alternative to real wood, while also meeting the current trend for matt, velvety surfaces.

The new lacquered boards have the same benefits as the matt boards. It has an anti-fingerprint feature that is visible even with dark colors. It is easy to clean and maintain, as well as being antibacterial. Although veneer cannot withstand heat and moisture, it is suitable for many applications. However, the matt-textured surface has proved its durability.

Chipboard is also made from 89% of renewable resources, 70% recycled materials or byproducts of the sawmill industry. This makes it more efficient and provides a sustainable alternative in a climate where the demand for eco-friendly products is growing exponentially.

Interior design has many applications

There are many benefits to the product and a cut-to size format that can be tailored to meet different requirements. This opens up a lot of options for interior designers and furniture makers. PerfectSense Feelwood lacquered Boards are durable and attractive. They can be used vertically and horizontally for kitchen fronts, bathroom furniture, wall cladding, living room, bedroom, and other applications. The PerfectSense Feelwood lacquered boards are wood-based and can be used in a variety of settings, including offices, hotels, shops, and restaurants.

New board collections include five wood replicas and the trend color black with a new matte-textured surface. The six decorative products are made from different types of wood to give you an authentic experience with solid wood. They contain natural elements and colors to enhance the material’s essence. Cuneo Oak, for example, has sapwood, Garrone Oak has a reflective quality, and Halifax Oaks has small cracks. Riffian Oak, on the other hand, has a natural plank.
